Xensr was tapped by Apple to highlight new technologies and features in its forthcoming WatchOS 4 for the Apple Watch. At the Apple World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 5, the Xensr Sessions App was highlighted as one of the new apps for the Apple Watch that harness new WatchOS 4 features in the keynote address.

The Xensr Sessions app running on the Apple Watch connects to the Xensr Air 3D GPS wirelessly and enables athletes to integrate their Xensr Air session data into the watch. Combining motion analytics with heart rate creates a powerful tool for athletes to analyze their sessions in a new light with health data such as calories burned during their surf session, wave caught, waves attempted, swell height measurement and more. The Xensr Air combined with the Sessions app on the Apple Watch is the first surfing performance analytics solution to encompass surf data, environmental data and health data.
